This is an idea currently under development by Kenneth Wheeler. I feel that there is a great lack of accurate military games out there, and I aim to create one with as much history as interesting gameplay.

__________

001: INITIAL MENU

The three submenus that lie beneath the first menu are:
>BOOT CAMP
>CAMPAIGNS
>OPTIONS

002: SUBMENU: BOOT CAMP

If the player selects Boot Camp, they will be presented the options to select the option to either continue a save or start a new recruit profile.

Completing Boot Camp will allow you to access the Iraq War and Afghanistan campaigns. Several MOS's are available to follow, and whether or not you achieve the one you select will depend on how well you pass Boot Camp as any of the recruits explained in article 101.

003: SUBMENU: CAMPAIGNS

Several campaigns based on Marine involvement will make up the base of the game. The menu will have your basic load campaign and start new campaign features. New campaigns only become available on the completion of the campaign previous, and only one save is available per campaign. The more modern campaigns require the completion of boot camp. Some campaigns will be about time periods, and others are about separate wars. Most campaigns will be more like interactive historical lessons than just your average shooting game. Settings will range from being recruited in Tun Tavern to sharpshooting on naval vessels to just about every other important highlight of the Marine Corps' involvements. In modern campaigns, your experience will differ depending on what your MOS was in Boot Camp.

004: SUBMENU: OPTIONS

Just your basic game settings can be found here, and the only other options will be different filter effects that can be placed to match different campaigns.

__________

101: BOOT CAMP

First, the player selects a character based on their aspects. These separate attributes determine performance in several tests throughout boot camp.

- The "Grunt" build offers overall average aspects, with no exact specifications. Capable of nearly any profession.

- The "Bodybuilder" has high stamina and overall muscular strength, but is very shaky about his weapons.

- The "Backyard Range Owner" is an expert shooter, but scrapes by with his level of strength.

- The "Cadet" has a very easy time in inspection and during basic drill, but is fairly lacking on all other points.

102: BOOT CAMP TESTS

Several challenges are set to be overcome during boot camp. There are 2 firing range trips, a hump through the Rockies, a MCMAP class, 2 drill classes, and random physical and inspection portions throughout training.
